Inquiries to ask your self with a purpose to get to know your self

Whether you’re starting a blog, podcast, or YouTube channel, you need to define what sets you apart from other digital developers. We have never had more opportunities than today to express ourselves and our talents. This is great news, but it also means that there is a lot of competition out there.

In this article, you will find a few questions to ask yourself in order to get to know yourself better. You don’t have to share this with anyone for now, but it is important to be honest with yourself. You need to know where you are now to determine which direction you want to go.

# 1 What am I great at?

The most successful people are characterized by a unique combination of talents. You may think that you don’t have multiple talents or that they cannot be linked together. That is not true. Think of all the things that you’re great at, whether it’s something big like winning a medal in sports or something small like: I make amazing muffins and everyone loves them!

Make a list of all the things that you are great at. Look at skills people compliment you on and the areas in which they often seek your help. Now, consider if you can pair some of these things and create something unique. All good ideas start like this. Think of Steve Jobs, who combined his aesthetics and technical knowledge at a time when computers looked anything but cool.

# 2 What would I do if I never had to work again?

Imagine you have won the lottery and you no longer have to work. You can do anything you want and go anywhere you want. Most people claim that they will quit their job the next morning. The most common answer to this question is that people go to an exotic island and spend their days on the beach and have someone cook and clean.

However, that can’t take forever. Most people would get bored sitting on the beach and want to do something productive to leave some kind of legacy. What would you do? Would you write a book Would You Teach Children To Exercise? Maybe you would become a fashion designer? The answer to this question is your real passion. This is the job you were born to do.

# 3 Who is my inspiration?

Think of all of the role models you had in your childhood. Maybe it was your mother, maybe it was a famous singer or actress. Sometimes your greatest teachers and motivators are people you’ve never really met. Maybe it is your favorite writer, or even a TV presenter like Oprah Winfrey.

You probably have some role models in the online world and in your industry too. People whose blogs you admire, you love their style, the way they speak, the subjects they choose. You should never copy anyone, but it’s perfectly fine to use other people as your source of inspiration.

# 4 How do I want to be reminded?

One of the questions you need to ask yourself in order to get to know yourself is what should people think when they think of you? How are they supposed to remember you? Here, each of us has a list of positive qualities. I want to be recognized as a creative person. I want to be remembered for my sense of humor.

But do you give that to people? If your online picture doesn’t match these values, it may be time to do something about it.

First, if you do this you will feel a lot better. Second, other people will realize that you are doing something real and they will support you because the world misses people who are not afraid to show their true selves.
